About the Course
Course Description
The “watch and wait” has long been the standard response to early enamel lesions — but in modern dentistry, that approach is no longer acceptable. Advances in diagnostic imaging, AI technology, and minimally invasive treatment protocols now allow clinicians to identify and arrest carious lesions before cavitation occurs.
This course challenges outdated thinking and provides a clear, evidence-based roadmap for early intervention. Learn how to move beyond guesswork with traditional radiographs and explorers, implement cutting-edge diagnostic tools, and deliver noninvasive restorative treatments that halt the caries progression and promote partial to full remineralization of the affected lesion.
Learning Topics
- Recognize “watching” early enamel lesions is outdated and identify the limitations of conventional caries diagnostics.
- Integrate advanced technologies, including 2D AI and enhanced diagnostic tools, to detect early lesions with greater accuracy and confidence.
- Apply a predictable, three-minute restorative protocol that arrests up to 90% of early lesions and promotes remineralization.
- Establish a modern, non-invasive approach to managing incipient caries and breaking the cycle of repetitive drilling and restoration.
- Elevate patient communication by emphasizing early detection, early intervention, and long-term tooth preservation as the most conservative approach to treatment.
